Don’t leave the ball in my court.
I’m meant for the sidelines;
for moral support.
You know my aim is awful-
I’ll miss every shot I make.
My confidence wobbles
under your glance.
Can’t you take the lead?
Take one for the team.
You always were
stronger than me.
This pressure is more than you can see-
take it off my shoulders, please.
You can take all the time you need.
I’m rooting for you to succeed.
